Privately Owned Addiction Treatment Center in Central Texas
Plum Creek Recovery Ranch is a Joint Commission-accredited residential center for the treatment of substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions. We help people reclaim their lives from drug or alcohol addiction. We provide on-site medical detox and residential treatment with the potential for extended length of stay on our campus.

12-Step-Based Program in a Healing Environment
Located between Austin and Lockhart, Texas, the campus is centered around a converted Texas mansion and spans 200 acres of ranchland, forest, ponds and native scrub. This environment supports immersive, experiential therapy designed to re-engage the brain and help build new neural pathways. This complements the clinical work done in group and individual therapy, where each person can examine the underlying drivers of substance use in their lives and begin to build new patterns of behavior and connection.
Focus on the role of the family
Treatment at Plum Creek includes a dedicated focus on the role of family. When family members are in a position to support recovery, we equip them with tools to understand addiction, set healthy boundaries, and navigate the challenges of their role — while also supporting their own healing.
Continuing Care and Alumni Support
Plum Creek is part of a broader continuum of care that supports long-term recovery. We work in coordination with referring providers and the wider recovery community in Central Texas — including outpatient programs, sober living homes, therapists, 12-step groups and our Plum Alum alumni program — to ensure each individual has a clear path forward after residential treatment.

Our center is led by private owners with experience across the full continuum of care — including medical detox, residential and outpatient treatment, and recovery housing — in settings ranging from luxury rehab to correctional systems. That perspective is paired with the insight of local leaders within the Central Texas treatment community, shaping a program built on clinical integrity and one singular focus: Providing effective treatment for drug and alcohol addiction.
